Confined Space Trainer

This 1-day class is designed to prepare individuals responsible for providing confined space training at work. The class provides the necessary skills to develop, deliver and evaluate students on basic confined space knowledge.

Topics covered in this class include:

• An overview of the OSHA 1910.146 General Industry and 1926.1200 Construction regulations for working in confined spaces.
• Hazards in Confined Spaces
• Types of Confined Spaces
• Developing a confined space entry program development based on the needs of the specific site
• The roles and duties of the Confined Space team
• Permit Vs. Non-Permit Confined Space
• How to fill out the Confined Space Permit
• Air Testing
• Rescue Methods

Class includes full training curriculum and a flash drive for training others in confined space operations. Students will also receive a wallet card template to create their own wallet cards and certify students at their own facility. 

Trainer certification is good for 5 years.
