Confined Space Competent Person

Depending on your company’s needs, this class can be customized to the requirements found in OSHA’S General Industry or Construction standard. Topics covered include the different types of confined spaces, hazards, air testing, emergency/rescue procedures, roles/duties of the confined space team, and ventilation techniques.

Class exercises include using a gas meter to test the atmosphere, filling out a confined space permit, and using a tri-pod retrieval rescue system (when feasible).

Upon successful completion of the written examination, students will receive a competent person certification card for confined space.
